Melika manages accounts for a number of RiPfA Partners supporting them to embed the knowledge, skills and resources held by RiPfA into their organisations and wider networks.  Melika also works on Research and Policy updates and responds to research queries.  Melika works closely with RiPfA Associates in producing information for publication.  Melika currently works Monday – Thursday to enable her to complete an MSc in Psychology.

Melika has experience of working for a variety of regional and national charities. During this time, she has provided information and advice to practitioners, parents, carers and members of the public, on a variety of topics related to supporting people with learning disabilities.  Melika has also managed a range of social care services for people with learning disabilities and provided advocacy to young people.  Melika also worked on a pilot project with the Department of Education trialling reforms to Special Educational Needs and Disability support for young people, which went on to inform the Children and Families Act (2014).
