This year the Link Officers’ Annual Meeting (LOAM) will examine innovative approaches to learning and development in adult social care with a focus on the tools we have to develop practitioners’ knowledge, skills and capabilities throughout their career. The learning aims include:
- To share innovative approaches to learning and development that support professional development in the social care sector.
- To explore opportunities that new technologies present in supporting skills development across the sector.
- To consult on the topics to be included in the next RiPfA Delivery Programme (launch date Spring 2018).

About the Link Officers’ Annual Meeting
Link Officers are the lynchpin between Research in Practice for Adults and a Partner organisation. They focus on embedding learning and development within their organisation and championing evidence-informed practice.
The Link Officers’ Annual Meeting (LOAM) brings together Link Officers from across the network. This popular annual event is a unique opportunity for Partners to share best practice, discuss emerging sector issues and to learn from one another.
Attendance is included in organisational membership to Research in Practice for Adults.
