Think Local Act Personal - RiPfA joins partnership
Research in Practice for Adults (RiPfA) has been accepted to join the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) partnership.
TLAP is a national partnership of over 50 organisations who are committed to transforming health and care through personalisation and community-based support. Personalisation is about putting people in control of their care and support. Community-based support is about taking a citizen-led approach to enable people in their communities.
Part of the work of TLAP is to secure agreements from partners on implementing the delivery of personalisation and community-based support. The partnership also works to influence national policy based on what works in practice and challenges that need to be addressed.
As part of the partnership, RiPfA will have the opportunity to contribute to national events as well as the development of resources in collaboration with others. Lisa Smith, Assistant Director of Research in Practice for Adults said:
‘RiPfA are delighted to be joining the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) partnership supporting health and care through personalisation and community support. We know their expertise will be invaluable to our work and in turn believe our evidence-informed approach to practice can support the TLAP partnership. People's lived experiences are a crucial source of evidence, and we look forward to strengthening this together.’
