Improving the quality of care and support for older people: How can the NICE guidelines help?
Webinar: (Re-scheduled) 11 February 2016, 12-1pm, online
The NICE Collaborating Centre for Social Care is hosting a free webinar on 11 February, re-scheduled from 3 February due to a technical issue
The webinar will consider how the recent NICE guidelines on the care and support of older people can be used to improve practice in this area.
The guidelines are:
- Home care: delivering personal care and practical support to older people living in their own homes
- Transition between inpatient hospital settings and community or care home settings for adults with social care needs
- Older people with social care needs and multiple long-term conditions
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note: You do not have to be a member or subscriber of Research in Practice for Adults to sign up for this free event.
In addition to this webinar, the NICE Collaborating Centre for Social Care is hosting three FREE workshops to consider how these guidelines can enable frontline practitioners to support practice improvement.
The workshops will be an interactive opportunity to consider all three guidelines together and action plan for implementation in your local area. Click on the links below for more information and to book a place.
