Workshop: Improving the quality of care for older people - using the NICE guidelines
NICE has recently published three guidelines on the quality of care for older people. The NICE Collaborating Centre for Social Care is hosting a series of free workshops to support professionals working in this area to use the guidelines effectively in practice.
The guidelines are:
- Home care: delivering personal care and practical support to older people living in their own homes
- Transition between inpatient hospital settings and community or care home settings for adults with social care needs
- Older people with social care needs and multiple long-term conditions
The first workshop is on Wednesday 24 February at NCVO in London. It includes an introduction to the guidelines, how to use them, and an action planning session to ensure delegates can put learning into practice.
