Inform the development of the Train the Trainer – Supervisor Development Programme
Research in Practice for Adults is inviting professionals to participate in a survey to inform the development and delivery of the Train the Trainer – Supervisor Development Programme (ttSDP).
Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, the ttSDP is a new programme being delivered by Research in Practice for Adults and Skills for Care. It aims to enable and empower those responsible for delivering and overseeing effective supervision within local authorities to deliver and disseminate sustainable learning within their local areas.
Over the next year, every local authority will be entitled to places on this national programme. This will include three days of learning using a ‘Train the Trainer’ approach, combining face-to-face teaching and self-directed study. Participants will be encouraged to collaborate with regional colleagues to share resources and good practice.
To help inform the programme, feedback is being gathered from professionals across adult social care. Key aims of the ttSDP are enabling high-quality learning and ensuring there are skilled trainers in local areas to support Practice Supervisors. The survey will ensure that the programme reflects the sector’s needs and priorities; feedback from people with lived experience will be gathered separately.
Participate in the survey. Deadline 31 August 2019.
Please note. Survey responses will not require identifying information.
