The report outlines: 

  • progress made in putting social workers and social work practice at the heart of delivering safe and successful outcomes for people with health and care needs.
  • the priorities over the coming year to further raise the quality and profile of adult social work across an integrated system.

In broader terms the report reviews how adult social work is reshaping the culture of adult social care and the way organisations collaborate across health, community and voluntary sectors to maintain people’s quality of life.
