Very informative and thought-provoking presentations which were useful in the current financial climate (Councillors’ Seminar participant)

Our network is made up of local authority Partners across England ranging from Cumbria to Cornwall. Each Partner has a Link Officer who is supported directly by a member of RiPfA staff working on a regional basis. Regional leads are in regular contact with the Link Officer and, where possible, a senior Strategic Champion to support take-up of sector-led support, use of tailored support, dissemination of hard copy resources and access to web resources.

Our Delivery Programme sets out opportunities to access resources and activities. Link Officers, and others who sign up, receive our monthly bulletin highlighting upcoming events, new resources and learning from the network.

We promote our network’s goal of sharing and embedding learning from evidence through a range of methods including

• our discussion forum where Partners can post questions, and receive comments and answers from other Partner agencies, RiPfA associates with research experience and RiPfA staff
• case studies of one-to-one projects
• Change Project resources that reflect practice experience
• webinars showcasing examples of good practice from Partner agencies
• telephone knowledge exchanges on practice areas identified by Partners
• annual events for Link Officers, Leaders and Councillors to present essential research, network and share good practice.

The cost for Partnership during 2012/13 is £14,260 which includes access to all of our services and support.
