09/10: directors policy forum (DPF) PDF Print E-mail

16 and 17 June 2010

Dartington

This annual event provided an opportunity for Directors and Heads of Service from our network of Partner agencies to meet together, to explore key areas of adult social care, and to discuss and influence ripfa’s work to promote and embed evidence informed practice.

The theme of this year’s event was

Cutting back and moving forward

The importance of evidence-informed decisions and sharing good practice in the context of spending constraints

We were looking at the post-election context for adult social care, and considering how evidence and knowledge exchange can support organisations to provide excellent services. This included an exploration of evidence for the best use of resources, including a focus on evidence-informed training.

Evidence review
