09/10: councillors and trustees seminar (CTS) PDF Print E-mail

3 and 4 February 2010

Woodland Grange, Leamington Spa

JOINT EVENT WITH RESEARCH IN PRACTICE

This year’s seminar explored the research evidence base for good safeguarding practice. It also addressed how we understand risk in general and the role that care services, communities and society as a whole play in protecting its most vulnerable members. We looked at service users’ stories of being a part of the safeguarding process and councillors shared their experience of involvement in the safeguarding process in their local authorities.
