I don’t think we’ve ever had anything like this to help people deal with their own personal feelings, plus team feelings, plus organisational change in the way that this does (Service Improvement Manager talking about SDS360 resource) Change projects are a unique method of action research. They bring practice and research together to share learning and to develop resources that address a specific practice priority. Change Projects run over an 18-month cycle that begins with Partners identifying an area of practice requiring focused support. Through an expert knowledge exchange, we map existing research, policy and practice in this area, and determine where evidence-informed change is most needed.
RiPfA then works alongside an expert co-facilitator to bring research and practice learning together, through a series of workshops with practitioners in Partner agencies. These identify the essential messages for practice and how they can be made most accessible and useful. Pilot resources are then trialled with Partners and refined, before being shared across the network. Each Change Project produces unique resources tailored to the topic, audience and learning outcomes identified through the evidence. These are accessible to Partners here.
