In addition to learning events, RiPfA will be delivering a number of annual events to members of staff from Partner agencies.

Places at annual events are by invitation from RiPfA rather than through Link Officer nomination. This is due to the nature of annual events which have a specific focus geared towards the chosen audience eg Link Officers or Directors. If the invited person is unable to attend then they may be asked to delegate their position to a colleague to ensure that the Partner agency is represented.

Programmes for annual events will be added to this webpage as they become available. After the event presentations and resources from the event will also be available here for download and distribution across Partner agencies.

Seminar for Councillors and Trustees

JOINT EVENT WITH RESEARCH IN PRACTICE
This is an annual event held for elected members from our Partner agencies. It will include both joint sessions with research in practice and sessions specific to adults.

Directors Policy Forum

This annual event provides an opportunity for Directors and Heads of Service to hear about recent policy and practice developments and to influence RiPfA ’s programme of future work.

Link Officers Annual Meeting

This is a key event in our annual calendar, an opportunity for Link Officers to develop their knowledge about the most effective ways to promote and support the use of research evidence in service delivery. It also includes opportunities for information exchange, networking and research input.
